About the Concert
The Columbia Orchestra bursts out in full color with Debussy’s impressionistic masterpiece! Jason Shafer, the Orchestra’s 2003 Young Artist Competition winner now playing in Florida’s New World Symphony, brings his virtuosity to one of Mozart’s last and most beautiful concertos. Begin the journey with a young African-American composer’s jazzy celebration of Detroit’s automotive history and its world-class orchestra.
Join us at 6:30pm for a "Prelude," a fun, fascinating pre-concert discussion with Bill Scanlan Murphy brought to you by Baltimore-Washington Financial Advisors.
