Columbia Orchestra is a community of music makers inspiring a community of music lovers. Aside from our public orchestral and chamber concerts, orchestra members make an impact with audiences – young and old! – throughout the community.
Free Chamber Concerts
In addition to our chamber series, our musicians also present performances at senior living communities, hospitals, and other non-traditional venues. These special programs cater to individuals who may be unable to attend our public concerts, as we bring the music directly to them. Concerts at the Chrysalis
In collaboration with the Inner Arbor Trust, the CO and CJB present captivating programs for music enthusiasts spanning all age groups. These exhilarating concerts, offered free of charge, feature well-known classical compositions, popular selections, and lively big band melodies.

Collaborations with the community play a crucial role in the success of music organizations. The Columbia Orchestra is delighted to have established partnerships with Neighbor Ride and the Howard County Public School System.
