For this year’s Veterans Day celebration, the CJB celebrates Les Brown and his Band of Renown. Teaming up with Bob Hope for almost 50 years, Brown and his Band performed on 18 USO tours and their 1945 hit “Sentimental Journey” with Doris Day, was the unofficial homecoming song for many World War II veterans. Along with Sentimental Journey, the concert will feature the Les Brown favorites Leap Frog, Perdido, Blue Moon and their number one hit – I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm.
